Asset and activity management is a strength of Prophet IAM, and the company is fortunate to have on board Brian Milne, who was for many years the Chairman of the PRAMS committee, as well as the parks industry representative on NAMS.

Prophet IAM has been involved in a wide range of asset management projects, and the directors were driving live asset management activities, in their previous roles as parks managers, prior to joining the company.

In addition, Prophet IAM has been engaged by several organisations to assist in acquiring an asset management system, to provide relevant training, and to manage and its implementation.

Waitomo District Council - Asset Data Collection
March 2008 - May 2008.  Site visits of all of the district's parks and reserves to collect asset condition, age, remaining life and location details of assets to component level.

Manukau City Council - Asset Management Plan Document Review
January 2008. Undertake a desktop review and gap analysis of the Manukau Parks 2007 Asset Management Plan to identify improvement issues for the 2008 updating of the plan.

Timaru District Council - Asset Management Gap Analysis
October 2006. Review the current asset management systems, procedures and practices, compare against comparable Yardstick data, and provide a summary report and improvement programme.

Waitaki District Council - Asset Data Collection
October 2005 - April 2006. Site visits of all of the district’s parks and reserves to collect asset condition, age, remaining life and location detail of assets using a GPS unit.

Napier City Council - Activity Management Plan
September 2005 - February 2006. Develop Activity Management Plans for parks and sportsfields using the new MWH templates.

Waitaki District Council - Activity Management Plan
May 2005 - February 2006. Develop Activity Management Plans for the Public Gardens, parks, sportsgrounds and grants administration using the new MWH templates.

December 2004. Set up asset register and survey parks to collect all asset information including condition, estimated age and estimated remaining life.

September 2003 - December 2003. Develop levels of service as first stage of asset management plan for reserves.

Waimakariri District Council - Toilet Condition Survey, Maintenance and Renewal
June 2003. Carry out a survey of toilet facilities and identify condition and estimated remaining life. Develop a detailed 8 year building maintenance and improvement plan and a 50 year capital development and renewal programme.
Gore District Council - Asset Condition Survey
April 2003 - May 2003. Survey of all parks assets to update asset records, asset condition and remaining life. Update Confirm AMS data.

Works Infrastructure Ltd - Asset Management System Training
February 2003 - April 2005. Train and implement contracts to be run from CONFIRM AMS software at Taupo, Tauranga, Wairoa and Kaikoura.

Tauranga Racecourse - Asset Management Plan
September 2002 - January 2002. Develop a first asset management plan for the Racecourse Reserve which incorporates Golf Course, Horse Racing track & associated facilities.

Fiji Public Works Department - CONFIRM Implementation

May 2001 - 2005. Provide CONFIRM AMS implementation services, including business process documentation, data structure development and user training. Provide ongoing support for users through three monthly visits during 2001 & 2002.

Matamata-Piako District Council - CONFIRM Implementation
March 2001 - July 2001. Set up the valuation of parks and community assets in the CONFIRM AMS asset register. Create maintenance contracts for the maintenance of cemeteries, street furniture and garden assets.

Gore District Council - CONFIRM Asset Valuation Implementation
February 2001. Set up the valuation of parks and community assets in the CONFIRM AMS asset register. Create maintenance contracts for the maintenance of park assets.
